Dr. Ann Turner
Dr. Ann Turner received her Associates of Science at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, and her Bachelor's of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Wyoming. She earned her DVM from Colorado State University in 1996. Dr. Turner opened SAES in 2006. She is also and avid, high-level Dressage competitor.
Dr. Tim Staudt
Dr. Tim Staudt attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Biology-Pre-Veterinary Medicine with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. He graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine May 2001.
Dr. Laura Whitehead
Dr. Laura Whitehead is from Huntington Beach, California and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. She graduated from California State University (Long Beach) and attended the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she began a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine at North Carolina State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Whitehead's interests include Oncology and Critical Care Medicine.

Alan joined our clinic in 2007. After many years of training and growth, he became Technician Supervisor in June 2015 and then took over as Practice Manager in April 2019.

Emma Colasacco
Emma has been a resident of Aberdeen her entire life. She joined our staff in 2017 directly out of high school where she got certified as a Veterinary Assistant through Texas A&M. She is currently in school studying Forensic Science in hopes of eventually getting accepted into Vet School to become a Veterinarian.

Shania Zastrow
Born in Wisconsin, Shania spent most of her life living up north before moving to North Carolina in 2005. Shania graduated college in 2011 with an Associates Degree in Animal Science and started working at SAES soon after. When not at work, she can be found relaxing with her 3 dogs, reading, or listening to an eclectic mix of music.

Nicole Rogers, RVT
Born and raised in Durham, NC, she first went to Lees McRae College (Banner Elk, NC) where she took pre-vet courses. Nicole moved to Pinehurst in 2013 to enroll in a VMT program. She graduated in 2015. Nicole plans to continue her education in canine rehabilitation in the near future. In Nicole's free time you can find her cheering on her favorite sports teams, hanging out with her three dogs (rescued German Shepherds) and three cats (rescued kittens and a Bengal), or trying out the new craft beers.

Kathy Glaeser-Pater
Kathy has been in the veterinary field for over 35 years, starting out as a volunteer veterinary assistant when she was 16 years old to spending almost 30 years working almost exclusively in veterinary emergency hospitals to working at a low cost/full service practice to working in various specialty practices in Maryland, North Carolina and Arizona. She came to SAES in October 2018 soon after she and her husband moved from Phoenix, AZ to North Carolina. Kathy is proud to be a native Baltimorean and supports both of her home teams, the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. She and her husband are VERY avid Ravens fans. Her family currently consists of 4 Cocker Spaniels (Rebound, Xerox, Momotaro and Tara) and 2 cats (Mochi and Penguin), both of which she hand raised from birth. Kathy's free time consists of traveling, wildlife rehab (especially squirrel babies), photography, volunteering with her therapy dogs (Rebound [in the picture] and Tara) visiting the elderly in hospice and memory care. And during football season, watching her Ravens play!
